CW522 will be down until we can get some power back. 23" of heavy wet snow before Halloween with 27 MPH gusts took down lots of trees and lines. Current estimates indicate a week until the power is restored.

Subject: [wxqc] WeatherLink 5.9.3 crashes

I recently changed some things around in my computer room to consolidate
and eliminate a running computer. I moved my Weatherlink software from
one computer to another and upgraded from Weatherlink 5.9.1 to
Weatherlink 5.9.3.

Now Weatherlink is crashing 2 or 3 times a day with the good old
"Weatherlink has encountered a problem and needs to close" message.

Of course the issue is I don't know if it's something about the new
computer that is the problem or if it's the version of Weatherlink. Both
the new and old computers have identical Quad core Intel processors,
motherboards and memory and are running Windows XP with the latest
updates. So I don't see what could be different about the computers.

I would like to downgrade to Weatherlink 5.9.1, which was working
flawlessly on the other computer, but of course I don't have the
installation file for the older version.

Does anyone have the older version of Weatherlink they could send me. Or
any other suggestions?

Thanks,
--
