Recently, Texas has been under a long period of hot weather. The
official weather station at Camp Mabry has reported a string of record
high temperatures. Looking around the Austin area at other stations,
Camp Mabry seems to recently have the highest or near highest
temperature. My station, for example, has yet to get up to 100F.
So I thought I'd check the analysis for KATT. I can't get it to show
any graphs longer than 3 days, though. If I select the 7 day graph,
the 3 day graph is displayed:

If I select longer periods, the graphic says No Data.
Is this a bug in the QC software, or is there a good reason for there
not being any data?
There may be a good reason for Camp Mabry having higher temperatures.
The wind has been consistently out of the south and maybe a tad east
of south. That means that Camp Mabry is downwind from downtown and
even more locally downwind from Mopac, which is a roughly north/south
freeway. Surely all the heating from the city center and especially
the highway heating is causing their temperatures to read higher.
Meanwhile, record high temperatures are going into the record books.
By contrast Austin Bergstrom Municipal Airport has yet to report its
first day of 100+ degree weather. The airport is located upwind of
downtown and not in line with any north/south freeway.
