[wxqc] Weatherlink 5.7.1

I see the error pop up occasionally, so I click OK, then check the
connection. It always seems to be working ,so I let it go at that.

The above software has recently started generating a "LOST CONNECTION"
notification when I have the Bulletin Report open.  Nothing new has
been installed on my computer nor has any hardware configuration been
made.  I've been in contact with the Davis tech support who has
advised that this is a "known issue," but that no resolution is
available to share.  I've purchased a Snap-Together Ferrite Choke Core
and installed it around the USB cable as suggested by the Davis group;
however, the "LOST CONNECTION" error still occurs.

 

Has anyone else had a similar problem, and if so, how was it resolved?
