I guess, I will dis-connect and re-connect the data from the rain gauge
until I find the problem. We are short about 2.38 inches short in Denver,
Colorado and the surrounding area, east of the Rocky Mountains. So far, we
received only 1.81 inches since January 1st, 2008 in Deer Trail, Colorado.
80105 which is 52 miles southeast of Denver.

Best Regards:

I have been running a LaCrosse 2317CP since December 2005. . . 24/7. . . and
I haven't experienced the problem with my rain gauge that you are. . . in
fact I have never had a problem with my rain gauge except when the wind is
blowing really hard and blows the rain across the top of the gauge. . . I
usually record about half of what has actually fallen on very hurricane
windy days. . . I am running my station wireless. . .and change the
batteries every 6 months. . . a couple of times less than 6 months when we
had extremely hot weather and one winter very cold weather. . .

I don't use Weather Display. . .I connect through WU software using the
direct serial access. . .if you haven't tried that, I suggest you give it a
try. . .
