[wxqc] Status of RADAR at EWX

Sounds like a lot of work and trouble..............when the Radar site is
down.

If you have PHP available on your weather website, you can use a small

script I wrote to show the status of the NEXRAD radar site.

Script is available from

Using it by invoking (on my site)

http://saratoga-weather.org/radar-status.php?nexrad=KEWX

 

shows

 

NEXRAD Radar KEWX status: No Data [last data 80189 secs ago] as of Sun,

01-Jun-2008 12:34pm PDT

 

You can customize the script on your site for local timezone and default

NEXRAD site id.
