Rex,
Thanks for bringing up the firmware issue. I checked and found my
firmware was dated 12/1/06 although my unit is newer then that and in
fact I had to swap my console mid-year and would have assumed I would
have been given a newer firmware.
I am in the process of updating the firmware as I write this (with
fingers crossed).
I can understand that there are some barometer corrections in the
firmware...mainly ones due to spikes after updating the firmware and
smoothing the barometer value but I didn't see any corrections for
barometer value?
The fact is that Steve mentions software changes and I did find the
optional settings in my WD software so there has to be some validity
to what he is saying. Seems Windy wouldn't have put the options in
the CWOP setup if he didn't think you would need them? I am just
curious how changing them will affect what I am uploading before I change them.
