I'm actually interested in the inverse problem: With a satellite-based
estimate of cloud cover (combined infrared, water vapor radiometry, and
possibly some surrogate direct/diffuse solar by means of a separate
temperature channel.
Several of us think we can then estimate evaptranspiration using a
modified method...
