Hi Keith,
The L and l parameters (solar insolation) provided for in the APRS
weather format and used by some weather stations is currently not stored
in the findU database (through which all CWOP data flows). Currently,
only a small number of CWOP stations provide this information and to
include it in the findU database for only a small amount of data does
not seem worthwhile. If and/or when more of this type of data is
available from CWOP stations, it might be included in findU and then
would be available to MADIS.
