[wxqc] [C28738] Chasing Barometer Calculation

Hi Philip,

Thanks for the reply, and the tip to check against KRNO.

>From the graphs, it just looked to me like it had been consistently high since Feb.

With the WMR968, the pressure sensor is located inside, so maybe that's it.

Heck, I never even look at the inside readings, so maybe I should put everything back to normal and stick the pressure sensor outside.

I think I'll just reset the offset I've been using, and put the pressure sensor outside and see what happens for a few days.

Thanks again!

Brent

If you compare your readings with KRNO -- the nearest 'reliable' source,
then it is a long way away from your readings, so I don't think that the
'new station in your area' is the answer.

If you look at http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/C8738?days=182
then you can see that your pressure tracked nicely until early feb, when
it started to diverge significantly. I have no idea what happened at
that point. Maybe device failure. Maybe a temperature change where the
pressure sensor is located, and it is more sensitive than it ought to be.
