[wxqc] WeatherLink Does Not Upload All Data to CWOP

There are a few solutions to this. Someone has built a module that loads
into WeatherLink that will put it automatically into bulletin mode. I have
written a little starter helper program (called WLBulletin) that starts
WeatherLink and puts it into bulletin mode by mimicking the button push that
a user would do. So wherever you have WeatherLink started automatically, you
could instead start this little helper app. I also have a freeware/shareware
tool called StartWatch that will also do this, among other things. All of
these solutions are free.
Links for both of my programs are on this page
http://www.softwx.com/downloads.html
and below the grid I also have a link to where you can get the WeatherLink
module (which was produced by another person, not me).

Subject: [wxqc] WeatherLink Does Not Upload All Data to CWOP
I just had someone point out to me that WeatherLink software does not
provide complete data to CWOP unless it is running in "Bulletin" mode. And,
you can't automatically start WeatherLink software in Bulletin mode, you
must start WeatherLink and then manually switch to Bulletin. That means
that you can not just put WeatherLink in your Startup folder or run
WeatherLink as a "Service" and provide complete information to CWOP.
I consider this a real problem with WeatherLink and I hope that all of you
CWOPers that are using WeatherLink (that's the majority of you) have emailed
or called Davis to complain.
