[wxqc] Data gaps due to software updates

Yet another gap in my data last night due to MS updates (I think). Very annoying. I realize I can turn them off and selectively update, but that seems like a workaround and it will still result in a data gap at some point.

Guess I need a dedicated box and maybe a different operating system?

I'm curious what other folks are doing to get around this problem.
