I really do believe corrective action does happen, and the people who
make it possible are right here, monitoring this reflector.
On the beginning of December, I posted the subject "ASOS BARO Drift"
that was observed on weather stations of 3 major airports, compared to
8 home weather stations for the month of November, 2006, a time of
weather stability in Central Florida. Since that time, I have noted
a major difference in performance of those same ASOS stations. For
the last 3 months, the same ASOS stations are exhibiting very good,
and stable data. The evidence is that a fix was implemented.
CWOP is, indeed, making a difference.
