Thank you, that explains it. I assumed the record was correct and was trying to figure out exactly what it was on MesoWest. Glad it is going to be 65 next week.

MesoWest should not be used for climate records. All they do is graph/tabulate the actual hourly observations. Large fluctuations can occur in between 2 hourly readings, and indeed the low temperature was 4F.

21156 means 6 hour low was -15.6 or 4F

Extremely happy to report that my VWS is up and running again thanks to Mr. Helms for all of his patient help diagnosing my system. Was missing a driver and then the computer could detect the the proper port. Whew!
We broke a min temperature record today at Bradley International Airport. It was 4 degrees against a previous record of 5 for the day. NOAA has just announced this and earlier when I checked on MesoWest it gave the min temp as 5. Is the below the link the official Bradley Station? Curious as to why this is.
