Please help. I am pretty new to all of this weather stuff. And even
though I have a pretty good understanding of statistics, I do not really
understand the reports I am receiving. Can you someone please review my
data and make some suggestions. My site is: CW7327.

My station is a Vantage Pro 2. I have been uploading data to FINDU for
about a couple of months now.

The chronology is approximately this:

1) Started 2 months ago uploading data using VWS software. Was getting
some Temperature errors. Sometimes just a couple of errors, sometimes
40+.
2) Unhappy with VWS software stability and resource usage so I switched
to Weatherlink about 2 weeks ago. Now seem to be getting even more
errors, Temperature and Dew Point.
3) One week ago, moved the Temp/Humidity/Rain sensors from above my roof
to just off of my deck. This lowered the sensors by 20' and gets them
away from my black roof. Temperature accuracy seems to have improved,
but I am still getting Dew Point errors.
4) Two days ago I realized I had a 5 degree offset plugged in for
Humidity (which affects Dew Point). I removed the offset and verified
the humidity reading with two other instruments. Dew Point seems to be
improved, but I am still getting Dew Point errors.

The problems seem much worse since I changed to Weatherlink software.
Is there any reason that VWS software and Weatherlink software would be
uploading different values?

I have already re-sited my temperature/humidity sensors. Any ideas for
how to further improve this?

Both before re-siteing and now, there seem to be differences between the
daytime and nighttime errors. What can I do about that?

I have made a number of changes in the last week which affect my data.
Does Madis need to re-establish my area "norms"? How long does this
take?

Should I just stop making further changes for a month and see how things
look then?

Any insight or help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
