[wxqc] Updating Pro Vantage 2 Without Using Updater

I'm sorry, but all I see are directions for using the Updater.

  After checking my Vantage Pro 2 console, by holding "DONE" and then pressing "up arrow," on the console, I have learned that I have revision April 10, 2006.  My understanding is that I can download and install the new firmware update without renting/obtaining the "updater" hardware.  My problem is that being new to this hobby/lifestyle and being a true novice computer user, I have no idea how to install the update.
