[wxqc] Unable to communicate

Eleanor,

Have you used the "TEST" or "Auto Detect" functions of weatherlink to see if
your problem is just a simple matter of the device showing up on a different
port number? With USB ports windows assigns port numbers dynamically, so if
you haven't tried that, give it a go.

  Subject: [wxqc] Unable to communicate

Hope someone can give me some guidance. My computer crashed and operating
system had to be reinstalled. I had my weather station stuff on a separate
drive and thought it would survive but it wouldn't run. I removed it and
started again and now my vws won't communicate at all. Checked my port
setting and it looks right but it is a ubs so is there anything different
about that. Any ideas as to why it won't communicate? old driver that
might be left in? order in which I did something. Had no problems the
first time I installed the WeatherLink and then the VWS. Any advice would
be appreciated.

  Thank you.
