Hi Gary,
You can see when you switched over to WeatherLink 5.7.1, the data logging application started encoding the "r" and the "p" (1hr and 24 hr) rainfall parameters in the APRS message:
http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/rawwx.cgi?call=W2CS
W2CS>APRS,TCPXX*,qAX,APRSFL:@070415z4228.35N/07338.63W_079/000g001t002P000h66b10292.DsVP
W2CS>APRS,TCPXX*,qAX,APRSFL:@070420z4228.35N/07338.63W_079/000g000t002P000h67b10291.DsVP
W2CS>APRS,TCPXX*,qAX,CORE-2:@071520z4228.35N/07338.63W_188/001g004t013r000p000P000h57b10259.DsVP
W2CS>APRS,TCPXX*,qAX,THIRD:@071521z4228.35N/07338.63W_182/001g004t014r000p000P000h57b10259.DsVP
You can also see that WeatherLink 5.7.1 started using rotate.aprs.net instead of aprsfl.net since the upload server started cycling to CORE-2, THIRD, etc.
Thanks for sharing,
Dave
