Where in Northern California? There are a few spotters in the Susanville
area that report to the National Weather Service in Reno, NV. It might be
beneficial to check the National Weather Service's web site to locate a
nearby office, then check with them.

I don't believe there is such a system in my area. If there is it's being
kept secret. I can find no information. Do you know if northern California
has such a system? Contact information would be a big help.

So, if you have the time... look into joining your local group of SkyWarn
spotters. It's well worth the adventure and you will be a very valuable
asset to your community.
