I am using this mast to support my Peet Bros wind sensor I have it up 33 ft
above ground level..... I have had gusts to 70 mph and it barely moves....

Lowes sells an inexpensive 30 foot tall telescoping steel antenna mast that
is perfect for exposure of an anemometer/wind vane. Guying is recommended.
