Maybe I'm not visualizing it properly. My visualization has a
sandwitch, belt, wire, cyllinder. Rain that normally would fall to the
ground outside of the cyllinder, would instead hit the belt and splash
in. I expect there to be some error from the wires, too, but that may
not be significant.
Do you have a picture of the rig?
