[wxqc] Weather Channel & Current Conditions

The Weather Channel reports current conditions in communities on cable, on
the web and the software is available for "Real Time" weather on one's
desktop.  My guess is that they do this purely by interpolation.  Does
anyone know of documentation where it states how they are able to do this?
