Dave,
HomeRun... <g>
Yes, I can. But I won't because it's in my nature to keep the ball-game
going. If the list owner sees fit to kick me off because I don't share all
your views, he would have done it by now. Maybe more people need
to keep honest people honest.
If anyone cared about the CWOP's and getting data to findU, why doesn't
findU mine data directly from aprswest.net? Seems someone doesn't
want to <g>. Is that fair to the CWOP 'pawns' as you labeled them?
Fixing 'old wounds' by Steve or you won't ever be my issue. Fixing the
APRS-IS to offer the best possible service, is.
I will continue to support CWOP's as I have in the past. I'm surprised Steve,
you, or Gerry haven't asked me how I managed CWOP's so successfully
over the past 6 years. aprswest.net stills handles a lot of different CWOP's per
hour, despite your attempts to call my server 'Unreliable' on findU. Or,
attempts to show charts and graphs that generate incomplete data.
I share a different point of view, that's all. Out of the 5658 that reported
WX data today to the APRS-IS, only 2400 are hitting 'rotate' on an average.
Where do you suppose the missing 3258 are sending their data?
Yes, I too have questions as to why a few thousand Wx stations don't
appear on these charts and graphs. I didn't spend 6 years running a
WX network without learning something <g>.
