[wxqc] Fw: APRS WX issues

Brandon,

I am kinda puzzled if you use a TCPXX connection why you also need to send out the same data via RF and in particular with a path use of WIDE3-3 ???

The IP feed will always be faster than running the same data via RF and with far less chance of corruption of the same data as it bounces around the digipeaters in the RF network.

Even if you want to supply WX data to local hams in your area, I would still only use one WIDE.

A path of WIDE3-3 can be seen hundreds of miles away where it is of no relevance at all and consume extra bandwidth on an already overtaxed RF system,

  Best wishes,
  Steve, AS132/kf6wax-3

I'll look into this and see if I can find a reason. What servers are
you using? rotate.aprs.net? What's the station's site id?
