[wxqc] Temperature Error

Hello,
I have recently joined the CWOP network (CW7816).
I have a concern over the way the data quality is being analysed for my
location. Today the 6th of April I received an error for a temperature
discrepancy. I saw this coming by watching the graphs and suspected this
might happen. All the stations around me that are part of the Madis network
are located much closer to the water than mine. I live more inland up a
valley, though not too far up. The Duncan, BC / North Cowichan area is known
for having higher temperatures than other surrounding localities when the
weather starts getting warm. In saying that the Victoria International
Airport CYYJ which is much closer to the water than my station and is
the closest reliable source for weather and pressure, reported temperatures
very close to my own. If I had a siting error I would certainly think I
would have exceeded CYYJ's reported temperature by much more than what I
did. Once again we were nearly the same temperature today.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thank-you,
Darryl
