[wxqc] my rain collector vs. the birds

Hey all.

I have a Davis Vantage Pro2 that seemed to be missing a lot of the
rain that was falling.  I just got back off the roof where I found
that birds had crapped in the collector, blocking the outlet hole.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can prevent this from
happening in the future.  In other words, how do I keep the birds off
the collector?
