For some reason, FF (both 1.5 & 2.0) doesn't show the html Image tag's 
"Alternate Text" when you hover the cursor over an image,  I've checked 
the settings and see one to turn such behavior on either.  IE *does* 
show the "Alternate Text" when you hover over an image.  I have not seen 
ANY web page yet (in the 2+ years I've been using FF) that shows the 
"alternate text".  So I don't know that this is something Philip & 
company could possible do on their own. :(

You *can* see the test by right clicking on the image and selecting 
properties.
