[wxqc] CWOP data quality error

Your not too new :) Your station has been around longer than mine has.
If you take a look at the graphs for my station, you will see the
humidity spike up very high after it gets dark.

I am also on a lake but also set way down in a valley. I have
positioned my station on the dock itself, knowing that the humidity
would be affected. What I didn't expect was that at my house 100 or so
yards up the hill but also in the valley keeps a very similar humidity
as to what the dock does. It would make very little difference if I
put the station up at the house (other than the wind would then be wrong
because of all the trees). The humidity settles into the valley very
quickly after the wind dies for the evening. It stays until the wind
picks up in the morning and then it stabilizes similar to what the other
stations in the area say. I also sometimes get red X's for dewpoint
and I just don't worry about it because I know my readings are right for
my location.

I also keep readings for water temperature which is pretty cool too.

Hi Gail,

Might be easier just to monitor your station's graphical QC statistics:
http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/C4512

Your dew point is getting flagged as a little bit too high, but that is
likely due to your proximity to the lake (don't make any changes). Your
pressure is also about 1.0 mb too low and could be adjusted upward.
