How much higher? The data sent to APRS is in integer degrees F, so there
is a source of error there. Also, (although it doesn't seem to be a
problem in your case), if you have recently changed your registered
elevation, then this can cause problems. The reason for this is that
MADIS works in Potential Temperature (which is a notional temperature,
adjusted for elevation). The QC graphs that I display are (supposed to
be) adjusted for elevation so that they are in surface temperatures.
Thus if my elevation does not agree with MADIS' elevation, then strange
things can happen.
Try looking at the data as seen at findu, and see if that matches what
you think.....
