HI,
I am new to this list. I was wondering, when useing
neighboring facilities to gather data for comparisions
if the fact that they might have incorrect data is
taken ito account. I have noticed that there are a few
in my local area that appear to be much different then
most and when I look at their QC charts, they show red
X's. Are they flagged so as not to to be used for
comparisons?
I would think that a situation where there are a
limited number of stations to compare with, just a
couple of stations with incorrect data could distort
the quality of the rest.

Thanks, Steve
