Rats, I did it, or actually didn't do it, again.

Thanks Gary for pointing out that I sent this to you instead of the forum,
one of these days I'll learn how to use this e-mail stuff.

Thanks, Dennis, for the follow-up.  I'm glad it worked out satisfactorily;
sounds like you encountered the same thing I did when I asked Davis for the
no-cost ag module. The tech I reached also didn't know about it - I
responded and asked him to check with Russ Heilig, he did, and the module
was in the mail. Getting the word out about stuff like this is an area
Davis could improve upon. I suspect not all that many people ask for the ag
module; I just hope not too many people have had to shell out $100 to get a
copy they should have been entitled to in the first place.

This is one of the great things about CWOP and the list (OK, and maybe
weatherforum.net, too) - getting good information out to a lot of people,
and saving folks time and money.

Thanks for "looping back" so folks know the outcome of your experience
(though, now that I look at it, this message may have only come to me rather
than the list if that was your intent.)

Best,
Gary

I decided to follow up with Davis concerning their Technical Support and
add-on Agricultural Module. I E-mailed Russ Heilig, Davis Sales Manager
asking for clarification if early WeatherLink owners had to pay for the
add-on Module. I soon received a response back from Mr. Heilig that he will
arrange for the Module be sent to me at NO CHARGE and he confirmed what Gary
said about the subject was true.

I wish to repeat what Gary mentions about Davis in his review at
http://www.weatherforum.net/reviews.html "In my mind, this is another
indicator of what a class company Davis proves themselves to be. From
after-market support to general customer relations, they're a class act"
