[wxqc] Consistent Dew Point errors

I have been running an Oregon Scientific WMR938 weather station as little
over one year but I am admittedly a novice at weather data. I run Free
WX-Wi 1.00 software and upload data every five minutes to CWOP /APRSWXNET
as N0TKN and Weather underground as kmojefe15. (HYPERLINK

While the station performs to my satisfaction I am getting consistent
Weather QC reports indicating Dew Point errors. The following link displays
an example that is not as bad as most lately. Is my assumption correct that
dew point is a calculation derived from the temperature and relative
humidity? If so is the calculation done in my software or on the web sites
where I upload the data. The temp and humidity data doesn’t seem to be that
far off the norm but dew point varies wildly. Since there aren’t very many
stations in my area, I would like the data to be as accurate as possible.
Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Jim
