[wxqc] Dewpoint Readings

My dew points started failing (red x's) about 3-4 weeks ago also. I am using LaCrosse WS 2310 but it was fine all winter and last fall. As long as my humidity and temperature continue to track closely to the analysis, I haven't felt the need to respond to the red x's. With all these comments from others, am convinced it is not our equipment.

My dewpoint readings are also off with my Vantage Pro 2 station. Not only that, but it appears that the next closest readings to my station are also off (with a big red X). Seems to me that if all of the stations around here are reading something different than what is "expected", then the model of what should be "expected" should be changed. Or is it that these stations all have a similar built in error?

John, I feel your pain. My dewpoint reading have been off this spring also
with my Vantage Pro 2 system that I got in December. I have been assuming
it is because of my own little microclimate. My sensor is about 20 feet
from the Bay of Green Bay and the rest of my local stations are more inland.
I would also like to know from the experts if this is an accurate
assumption.
