I would suggest setting your barometer based on the readings from the
Hanscom Station in Bedford, preferably at a time when the pressure is very
stable.very little wind and little chance of the barometer.

Stuck Sensor = FRUSTRATION

Just replaced my weather station and am trying to adjust the barometer of

the new station and getting frustrated. When I try to look at the data

analysis for my station as seen here:

http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/cgi-bin/wxsite.pl?site=ap564

There is such a saw tooth effect in the barometric readings that it is hard

using them for a comparison. Have read that this can be caused if a local

station has a stuck sensor. Have also read that Phil is hoping to implement

a fix for this type of situation.

I have found one local station, with a stuck barometer as seen here:

http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/AP847

I guess that may be what is causing the problem , but I am not sure, and

certainly understand that sensors can go bad.

My question is now what?

Is there any way I can do a data analysis query excluding that 1 stations

data ?

Or do I just wait awhile and hope that the problem gets fixed ?
