My station is CW5443 and I had a few questions in
regards to the Quality Check Reports.
First I noticed that yesterdays analysis plotted data
did not run to the end of the chart, not sure why?
Second I have a LaCrosse 2310 which I understand may
not always be that accurate for Dew Point & Humidity.
However in reviewing the Quality Check Reports I
sometimes get a red x for the 28 day report, a green
check for the 3 day, a red x for 7 days and a green
check for 14 days. I guess I do not understand how it
can quality check BAD for 7 days and good for 14 days.
Third, how is the analysis compiled? Especially for
the Dew point/Humidity? I look at stations in my area
and there is a hugh difference at times between most
of the stations. Very few seem to read the same,
especially when the humidity is low and when it is
high.
I have read all the information I can find and I still
don't understand these quality checks. Green is good
and red is bad, I guess that is what we all strive
for.
Thanks, Steve
