Russ quotes a data logger application breakout we did looking at the "CW" observers alone.  The Ham Radio folks (about 40% of all CWOP/APRSWXNET observers) don't have as much Davis equipment at the Internet observers, so the 30% estimate of all CWOP members is probably pretty close.
