[wxqc] Alt abberations

I know it's not unusual to see an ocassional error in the alt
department, but I got to thinking.. what happens if the surrounding
stations altimeter readings are all off the mark by some sigificant
amount, and yours happens to be within the std. deviation? Does that
cause your data to show up as in error? Not sure I worded that exactly
how it sounds, but can't think of a better explaination. Essentially, I
look at my long term alt readings and they are very close to the 0/0
line as compared to the rest of the station QC'd, yet this evening, I
show up with 3 errors out of the 96, and looking at the graph, I do see
some abberations during the time we had some thunderstorms move thru the
area right around noon, but the other one looks like about 2130 todays
date (03/31) with no significant wx event occuring.

One other point I meant to ask about (Dave/Sandy) is looking at KAGS and
KDNL both showing the same altimeter, when AGS is at elev. 148' and DNL
is at 400'+ . Of course, both are ASOS, but should they not be slightly
different? I've noticed this consistantly now for at least a month or
more.
